I was once told if a person is riding a horse that's going nowhere it's time to dismount! Or if one keeps doing the same thing expecting different results, that's the defination of insanity. We encounter times in our lives where it seems like what we are doing isn't working. We applied the formula over and over and it doesn't work. Or we may even have a job that's taking us absolutely nowhere. In these situations it's time to dismount. It's time to find a new horse that will take you in the direction that you need to go. Just because someone else may be successful in one area, that may not be your market or niche. So if you are riding a horse that's going nowhere, pray, ask God to lead you in the direction that HE wants you to go. If your horse seems to be lost, dismount, find a new thoroughbread and be the best person you can be! God Bless

John 8:3And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, 4They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. 5Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? 6This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 7So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. 8And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. 9And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? 11She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
In this passage of scripture the scribes and pharisees want to stone a woman who has committed adultery. Jesus basically tell those in attendance whoever has no sin may cast the first stone. But by the time Jesus raises from writing in the ground all have left. Jesus tells this woman to go and sin no more. Jesus tells her to move forward in righteousness. And when one has been saved, there is no need to dwell on what happened before salvation. God remembers our sins no more, so we, and others must do the same. We must look at others through the eyes of Jesus because if God has forgiven them, then who are we to continue to lay charge to them? Let's not be a stumbling block to others by dwelling on their past. God Bless |
