Saint Paul Church held it's first service on Friday December 28th, 2012 and what a joy it has been. Many people have come through the doors of Saint Paul and it's been a privilege and honor to minister to them. When God calls you, HE has a way of bringing everything together and this is what God has done with Saint Paul. Inspiried by the Holy Spirit, the congregation has come together to form a choir, sunday school, and they blew me out of the water when they put together a Christmas program with the children. The Lord has added to Saint Paul and we have baptized. We have a good report with the community and we are in a state of expectation on what God is going to do with and through Saint Paul Church. I thank God for the congregation HE has placed at Saint Paul. They don't belong to me, they belong to God. I have seen them come with excitement and invite others to come to Saint Paul. I'm waiting for the day when we won't have enough room to seat everyone and God will say it's time to move to a larger residence. I give God all the Glory for Saint Paul and on behalf of myself and my wife, we love you all Saint Paul! God Bless

"Chew the meat spit out the bones!" This is a cliche that some christians have adopted. The cliche means that when someone is preaching or teaching, some of what they say may not line up with scripture or may be some personal revelation they have. Any doctrine that does not line up with the bible is false doctrine. This cliche is also used to excuse, or turn a blind eye from the speaker or teacher in essence not calling them to the carpet for something that's not biblical truth. One has to be careful because by adhearing to this, baby christians, or new believer's can be led down the wrong path. Even the Apostle Paul rebuked Peter in Galatians 2, due to Peter being a hypocrit and exercising Jewish laws when Jews were around, and then jumping back to the dispensation of Christ when they were not in the presence of Jews. So we as Christians must not develop the bad habit of chewing the meat and spitting out the bones. One should not mix, or try to present false doctrine with biblical truths in ordert satisfy "itching ears" or to push "their own agenda." So the next time someone says chew the meat spit out the bones- Tell them no bones are involved and it's false doctrine, because we move from milk to meat, and God's word is the infallable truth! Be Blessed!
"And the next Sabbath day came Almost the whole city together to hear the word of God" Acts 13:44 As I read the book of Acts, I see the power of the holy spirit which enable the Apostles to preach the gospel and perform signs wonders and miracles. But what astonishes me is that these men were preaching to entire cities! As i'm studying the book of Acts, I ask myself what if we could preach the Gospel to entire cities just like God used those men to do so. What a blessing it would be to see entire cities come to hear the Gospel. The awesome power of God would be displayed as multitudes would be saved just like in biblical times. But I question what are we doing to take cities? Have our churches become inward focus that we are forgetting about the masses? Jesus Christ took the Gospel outside of the 4 walls of the church and we must do the same. We live in a time where many are afraid or they simply don't know how to share the Gospel. This is why we must come together as body of Christ and teach evangelism that we can share the Good News in order to take over cities. So as I conclude this blog, I ask what are you doing to take over a city? And secondly, will you agree and join with me to take over a city? God bless In Matthew 28 Jesus commands us to go and make disciples. Jesus commands us to share the Gospel with the lost and or unsaved. But how effective are we as individual Christians and or Churches? Some say reaching out to the lost is not a part of their ministry. Evangelism seems to be last on the list if it makes the "to do list" at all. I see other religions going about town sharing their doctrine whether it be false or true. I watch those people and notice how persistent they are, and how well they are trained. Although they don't have the right message they are trained to deliver their message. And sometimes I wonder where are we? As Christians we seem to be 2 steps behind. Some don't even share the Gospel. Others are afraid to share the Gospel. And some do share it. While we tend to wonder where the next blessing is coming from, God says what about the lost? What about those who don't know Jesus as Lord and savior? Each day we walk by people, work with and talk to people and never make an attempt to share Christ with them. So the question I ask is how effect are we? http://aalministries.weebly.com/evangelism.html Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. I have noticed lately that people tend to lose faith in trying times. Whether its a loss of a loved one, unemployment, personal problems, financial problems and the list goes on, some seem to lose faith when these things happen. There seems to be a common theme of "Rev, i'm going to stay away from the church until I get myself together." Many fail to realize this is exactly what the devil wants them to do. He wants you to stop going to church. Why? Because he knows the church is a hospital for those who need healing. Jesus never said that being saved was going to be easy. Also he never said that all of our problems would go away. But one thing Jesus did encourage us was to have faith in God. In the New Testament, the Apostle Paul encourages us to keep the faith as well. And in trying times like these we must keep the faith. When one is depressed, down, or feeling blue, that is the perfect time to go to the House of the Lord and get your spirit lifted by a powerful message, singing, and or prayer. When life is chaotic that is the perfect time to continue to attend church. So how de we keep the faith in trying times? We keep the faith by praying daily. Sometimes you may have to pray multiple times and they don't have to be long prayers. We keep the faith by continuing to read and meditate on the scriptures. Sometimes the answers we seek, or the comfort we need is in the Word Of God. We keep the faith by continuing to attend church. Part of church is to lift up or edify. God gives us hope in Jesus and it comes through HIS Word. Things may not happen overnight, but the key is to keep the faith. There have been times in my life where my faith was tried and tested. And as Christians you faith will be tried and tested. Talking with others helped me as well. It's good to speak with a person who is led by the Holy Spirit that can give you good Godly Counsel. Remember when Jesus told Peter the devil desired to sift him as wheat. But Jesus prayed that Peter's faith would fail him not. So when you get weak or feel like giving up, remember that Jesus is praying for you. I encourage you to keep the faith! God Bless!
